Starting Monday, March 30, the Long Beach Unified School District’s free meal service for children will be offered at a newly revised list of schools. In addition, Chromebook distribution for 菠菜网lol正规平台 students who still need a device to access the Internet will continue at two locations. The school district continues to provide the Home Learning Opportunities website at bomabearing.com/HLO, which can be accessed via Chromebooks and other devices.
Meals
菠菜网lol正规平台 will provide meals to go for children ages one 1 to 18 during the school closure period at these school locations: Addams, Avalon, Birney, Bixby, Burbank, Chavez, Dooley, Emerson, Gant, Garfield, Gompers, Grant, Harte, Henry, Herrera, King, Lafayette, Lincoln, Lindbergh, Longfellow, MacArthur, Marshall, McKinley, Muir, Riley, Rogers, Roosevelt, Signal Hill, Smith, Stevenson, Twain, Washington, Whittier and Willard. Meals are provided Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
These meals are free to students regardless of which school they attend. No paperwork is required. Children must be present for meals to be provided.
Chromebooks
Parents/guardians who still need to obtain a Chromebook tablet for their child must bring the parent/guardian’s photo ID and the student’s school ID badge or student ID number to one of these distribution sites. Distribution will occur from 8 to 11 a.m. on Monday, March 30 at these locations:
- Jordan High School, 6500 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach
- Poly High School, 1600 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach
Instructions on the use of the Chromebook, along with information on low-cost Internet access, will be provided.
